Trauma Registry Transition Support

In the last several years, one of the single greatest stressors for trauma program leaders is the trauma registry. As older vendors sunset their platforms, trauma centers are pressed to select a new registry platform, customize and prepare it for use at their center, migrate old data, comply with state and ACS submission requirements, and generate report to share the data at their center. All while maintaining charts are closed within 60 days of discharge!

4. Work with the hospital's HIM or IT team to automate and integrate the platform with your electronic medical record (EMR).

5. Ensure registry software supports PI by managing the work flow, training, and transition between platforms.

6. Assist in building a data quality plan that satisfies ACS Standard 6.1 and then help team adopt new validation practices (including TQIP submissions and reports).
