Diligent Consulting, founded in 2020 and operated out of Des Moines, Iowa, is a consulting firm focused on strengthening trauma system capacity, improving trauma center financial and operational performance, and providing clear, actionable solutions that drive measurable results. We partner directly with hospitals and governing bodies (EMS agencies), and we are also available as a subcontracting firm as part of larger projects.

Founder Sarah Spilman is a nationally experienced trauma consultant with 25+ years of expertise in healthcare research, trauma program operations, and data-driven strategy. She partners with trauma centers across the country to strengthen capacity, improve financial and operational performance, and translate complex data into clear, actionable solutions that drive measurable results.
